Beocleaner OS operating principle

The biological method of wastewater treatment is based on the ability of micro-organisms to break down drowned, colloidal and dissolved organic matter. Continuous aeration maintains even microbial growth, distribution and activity.

Activation

The portable bioreactor is filled with micro-organisms immobilised in ceramic granules. When immersed in a sewage-rich medium, a constant supply of oxygen activates the saprobic microbes, which "eat" the dead sludge.

BioCleaner OS relies on an immobilised microbial consortium of natural geobacteria that continuously regenerate, obtaining an optimal supply of nutrients and oxygen without the need for replenishment.

Effectiveness

To increase the efficiency of the BioCleaner OS micro-organisms and to improve the activity of the anaerobic bacteria, 5-10% of the wastewater flow is returned to the beginning of the main treatment plant, which improves the overall efficiency of wastewater treatment

Precisely selected bacteria and a constant supply of oxygen prevent anaerobic conditions that produce unpleasant odours such as hydrogen sulphide (H₂S). Micro-organisms break down the H₂S, removing the odour.
